Runnymede Pleasure Grounds

Situated on the banks of the River Thames and close to the Runnymede memorials, this park is a popular all-year round place to visit. It has plenty of modern play equipment, a paddling pool (it closes usually around 5pm, but we found it open after that), children’s rides and amusements (summer months) and adjacent cafe. It’s great for picnics or the starting point for walks along the River Thames.

Find the Queen's Statue and enjoy some time by the river.

There is a large pay and display car park and toilets (including disabled, accessed with a radar key). First 30 min car park FREE. Car parking charge applies after that.

Dog friendly. Great pavemented path for buggies.
