The Heath is open to the public during no racing days. It is a circular walk of 1.7 miles. It is a tarmac pathed walk which it makes great for bike ride, scooters and buggies.

In the centre of The Heath there is a little play area with a slide, climbing equipment and swings. It can get muddy during rainy days. 

There is a lovely view of the Racecourse Grandstand. 

It is very popular for dog walkers.
